Very nice non excavated confederate artillery button. This one retains nearly all of the gilt on the front and is very reflective. The back is silvered and has a stand up shank.

Nice non dug confederate lined artillery button. The face is perfect with a nice patina. The back is flat with the shank being pushed slightly.

Nice excavated Western Theater Block I Button. This one has an olive patina on the face. There is a small push to the front and on the corner. The back is sturdy but the shank is missing.

Nice example of a confederate infantry button. The face of this button is very nice with a smooth patina. The tin back and shank are still present. There is a small hairline crack on the back.

Nice silvered South Carolina cuff button. There is still a trace of silver on the front. There are no pushes on this one although the shank is slightly bent.

Nice example of an excavated Virginia state seal button. This still has a bit of gold on it. This button has some ground action. The stand up shank shank is intact and there is a small push on the right hand side.

Very nice excavated Virginia state seal button. There is the slightest push on the right soldier of Virtus. This button has gold in all of the right places and is brown in patina. This buttons stand up shank is still present.

Very Nice Virginia state seal button. This button was dug and is loaded with gold in all of the right places. This is the variant with the five pointed star in the legend. A hard one to come by especially in this condition. Stand up shank is intact.
