Crimean War Bullets
This page is set up to show examples of Crimean War Bullets. These bullets are somewhat easy to identify due to their almost grey brown patina. Some of these examples are being sold as American Civil War Bullets. The Crimean War was before the American Civil War so some of these types could have made it into the hands of men on both sides during the beginning of the war. These are a few examples from Europe that I would like to share with you.
CWB1-001 .69 French (Tamisier) 3 Rings Flat Base
Measurements: D .672 L 1.105 C None

CWB1-002 .75 Russian Brunswick (2 groove)
Note: I have seen these sold as American Civil War Bullets. There is no doubt that there are some out there however, look at the patina of the specimens. The ones with a grey/brown patina are more than likely from Europe like this example.
